Our client was charged with attempted murder following a shooting. Our client was initially detained but was released on electronic monitoring following a hearing. After months of negotiations, a settlement was reached wherein the District Attorney’s office offered to dismiss the attempted murder charge in exchange for an admission to a non-strike less serious charge of ADW. Additionally, the settlement called for no custody time and 15 days of community labor.
