Strike Felonies Dismissed and No Jail

Our client was charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon causing great bodily injury and Criminal Threats, both strikes. The client was accused of assaulting a co-worker with a weapon at their place of work over a financial dispute. The alleged victim sustained injuries. Following a preliminary hearing and several pre-trial hearings, Michael A. Goldstein negotiated a disposition that included the dismissal of both charged felonies. The client was sentenced to 36 months of probation, 50 days of community labor and can earn a reduction to a misdemeanor following probation.
