Not guilty verdict in felony battery case.

In this case, the victim sustained serious and permanent injuries following a bar fight, including a partial loss of sight and hearing. In this case, Michael and Jim were retained to represent two defendants. An aggressive defense was mounted where Michael and Jim presented a self-defense theory. After a hung jury in the first trial, a jury in the retrial finally found our clients not guilty of all charges. Jim and Michael were also successful in their motion for the recusal of the Los Angeles District Attorneys Office.
